About the Role
• Oversee design and permitting for assigned projects. • Coordinate requirements with third‑party agencies. • Manage design consultants and construction manager deliverables. • Provide input for monthly program reports on status and issues. • Review and approve construction delivery proposals. • Recommend changes to design consultants or contractor scopes. • Review and resolve design comments and bulletins. • Review and approve change orders. • Provide technical management of design consultants. • Chair and participate in progress and design review meetings. • Facilitate resolution of technical and contractual issues. • Review contractor RFIs and address errors & omissions. • Monitor scope, budget, schedule, and quality; report deviations. • Implement corrective actions for scope, budget, schedule, and quality. • Manage design and construction support activities. • Participate in design evaluations, studies, and alternative rankings. • Oversee construction‑phase services of design consultants. • Facilitate phasing and logistics meetings. • Supervise technical and administrative support staff. • Evaluate architects/engineers and contractors. • Deliver primary consulting services and risk assessments for clients. • Ensure compliance with safety PPE and site safety protocols. • Resolve project issues with schedule or cost impact.

What You Bring
Minimum requirements include a BA/BS in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field, eight years of experience (including two years in senior project management), and experience with Georgia K‑12 programs and GADOE. Candidates must pass state and federal background and drug screenings and be U.S. citizens. Preferred qualifications are ten or more years managing vertical construction, CCM or PMP certification, and an OSHA 30‑hour certificate.

Benefits
Sponsorship and relocation are not available for this position, which is onsite in Atlanta, GA with a compensation range of $150,000 to $205,000 annually.
