About the Role
The position involves assessing designs, calculations, and drawings for accuracy and code compliance, facilitating alignment between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, and acting as a liaison between government entities, contractors, and consultants. You will also participate in value‑engineering workshops, implement earned value management to track progress, and prepare technical reports on review outcomes. • Assess designs, calculations, and drawings from consultants for accuracy and code compliance. • Review and approve structural submittals received from contractors. • Facilitate alignment between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. • Act as a liaison between government entities, contractors, and consultants. • Participate in value engineering workshops to optimize design solutions. • Ensure deliverables align with contractual obligations. • Implement earned value management (EVM) to track engineering progress. • Prepare technical reports on review outcomes and design compliance. • Maintain detailed records of submittals, approvals, and recommendations.

What You Bring
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Engineer to join our team. In this role you will review and approve structure submittals from contractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements, local/international standards, and guidelines. Solid experience in hospitality projects (5‑star hotels/resorts – completed projects) is a must. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and 8‑10 years of structural engineering experience, preferably on stadium or large public venue projects and in PMC roles. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. • 8‑10 years of structural engineering experience with construction oversight. • Experience on stadium or large public venue projects (preferred). • Experience in PMC roles (preferred). • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. • Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills. • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities. • Familiarity with earned value management and value engineering processes.
