About the Role

The Operator is responsible for periodic inspection of parts being produced and for ensuring the production of quality parts, while keeping the work area clean and orderly at all times. In a typical day, the Operator loads coils, operates, tends, and services machines on a continuous line to produce completed boxes that are transferred automatically between machines and stations. The Operator clears stoppages in tracks and dies, changes taps, refills lubricant or compound tanks, oils required areas, and handles sorting or salvage of parts during line operation, as well as performs necessary line‑setup functions. • Inspect produced parts periodically to ensure quality. • Maintain a clean and orderly work area. • Load coils and operate/tend/serve machines on a continuous production line. • Clear machine stoppages and perform sorting or salvage of parts. • Change taps, refill lubricant or compound tanks, and oil required areas. • Perform line setup functions as needed.
