About the Role

The role involves conducting environmental assessments, preparing proposals and technical reports, managing routine projects, supervising project teams, marketing low‑risk projects, communicating with clients and mentoring junior staff. Join GHD to make a meaningful impact, collaborate on complex problems, and contribute to sustainable water, energy and urbanisation solutions for future generations. • Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments and impact studies per Australian regulations. • Lead and prepare high‑quality proposals and client‑ready technical reports adhering to standards and GHD guidelines. • Act as Project Manager for routine projects, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. • Supervise daily activities of project or design teams, allocate tasks, review work and provide feedback. • Develop and submit proposals for routine, low‑risk projects, influencing internal and external stakeholders. • Communicate with clients about current work, future needs and provide timely project updates. • Supervise, support and train less‑experienced team members. • Deliver exceptional client experience and identify business development opportunities.

What You Bring

We require a Bachelor of Science (Environmental) degree or related discipline, at least five years of relevant experience, and solid knowledge of Commonwealth, State and Local Government environmental regulations. The successful candidate will have strong communication, analytical and report‑writing skills, a proven client‑service record, and a driver’s licence. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) is expected.
