Diesel Mechanic - 11a-7:30p; Boot and Tool Allowance

Job Highlights
About the Role
You will maintain and repair trucks and equipment serving over 20 million customers, using modern tools to work on diesel and, at some sites, CNG vehicles, ensuring each vehicle leaves the shop ready to support the community. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and new parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls • Conduct safety checks on all vehicles • Complete paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times • Assist senior mechanics on project work • Review and assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area compliant with OSHA and corporate standards

What You Bring
Candidates must possess a REAL ID or equivalent to travel by air for business purposes, as required by federal regulations. • Minimum 2 years relevant mechanical experience • Valid driver’s license with a clean record • Age 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S. • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical • Able to work independently and enjoy varied daily challenges • Determined problem‑solver with a focus on safety
