About the Role

• Perform quality assurance tasks for renewable energy construction projects • Conduct field inspection and sampling of concrete, aggregates, and soils for foundations and access roadways to ensure compliance with plans/specifications • Conduct field testing of concrete, aggregates, soils in outdoor construction settings, including equipment lifting and terrain navigation; perform calculations, data reduction, and documentation • Inspect reinforced steel for wind turbine foundations • Use in‑house applications to report test results • Read maps, follow directions, and interpret engineering and construction plans • Identify on‑site issues and collaborate with engineering teams and contractors to develop solutions • Travel to remote construction sites nationwide

What You Bring

The role requires extensive travel—up to 100% of the time—to construction sites nationwide, with the expectation of working extended or irregular hours as needed. Technicians will perform quality-assurance tasks, including field inspection and sampling of concrete, aggregates, and soils to ensure compliance with project specifications, and will receive lodging and per-diem allowances. Candidates must be capable of conducting outdoor field testing of concrete, aggregates, and soils, interpreting engineering plans, and documenting results while handling heavy equipment on uneven terrain. Strong communication skills, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to obtain relevant certifications (ACI/ICC/WACEL) within six months are essential. • Above and Beyond – be versatile, flexible, anticipate company needs, take initiative, assist others • Obtain ACI/ICC/WACEL or equivalent certifications within 6 months of hire • Communicate effectively orally and in writing with team members and clients • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record
