About the Role

The New Home Consultant guides homebuyers from first contact through closing, using proactive sales techniques and deep market knowledge to create a seamless purchasing experience. Consultants engage visitors, identify needs, and apply Lennar’s selling philosophy. They generate, process and close sales via self‑generated or referred leads, following the 10‑5‑2‑1 method, and maintain thorough communication records throughout the buying cycle. They also keep model and inventory homes in optimal condition, travel locally to prospect leads, stay informed on market trends, track customer traffic, collaborate with internal teams, and participate in promotional activities. • Engage visitors and assess home‑buying needs using Lennar’s selling philosophy. • Generate, process, and close sales from self‑generated or referred leads with the 10‑5‑2‑1 approach. • Maintain accurate communication records from initial contact through post‑closing. • Keep the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes in optimal condition and coordinate maintenance. • Travel within the local community to prospect leads from Realtors, referrals, and self‑prospecting. • Develop in‑depth knowledge of market trends, product offerings, community details, and advertising strategies. • Track daily customer traffic using company‑designated tools. • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transactions and high customer satisfaction. • Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive growth. • Attend job sites and offices regularly during standard work hours.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma (college degree and real‑estate license preferred), 1‑3 years of new‑home sales or related experience, strong relationship‑building and closing skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales‑tracking tools. Self‑motivation and the ability to work independently are essential. Regular on‑site attendance during standard work hours is required, with the ability to work more than eight hours in a construction trailer, lift over 50 lb, climb stairs and ladders, operate a vehicle, read plans, and occasionally use construction equipment. • Meet education requirements: high school diploma (college degree and real‑estate license preferred). • Possess 1‑3 years of new‑home sales, real‑estate, or related experience. • Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales‑tracking systems. • Work independently with a results‑driven mindset. • Fulfill physical requirements: lift >50 lb, climb stairs/ladders, operate a vehicle, and occasionally use construction equipment.
