About the Role

The incumbent will support billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions, ensuring compliance with client contracts, GAAP, and company policies. Responsibilities include processing vendor and subcontractor invoices, verifying lien waivers and insurance, assisting with monthly and project closeout processes, and updating insurance documentation. The position also assists with internal and external audit requests and performs other duties as assigned. • Assist accountant to ensure client contractual requirements are met for billing and accounts receivable. • Support audit of client billing and project ledger in compliance with contracts, GAAP and company policy. • Process vendor invoices and maintain up-to-date accounts payable for assigned projects. • Process subcontractor invoices, verify lien waivers, contracts and insurance requirements. • Assist with monthly close, posting or accruing client bills and project costs. • Provide monthly updates on project assets and rentals for insurance documentation. • Assist with project financial closeout, ensuring final contract amounts and required documentation are completed. • Respond to internal and external audit requests. • Follow established procedures and complete tasks without needing follow-up. • Meet physical demands such as climbing stairs, ladders, and handling heavy objects on construction sites. • Operate safely in a construction environment with exposure to noise, weather, and potential hazards.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and possess solid knowledge of basic accounting principles. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, independent problem solving, and professional communication skills, as well as proficiency with MS Office and data entry. Physical demands include climbing stairs and ladders, handling heavy items, and working on active construction sites; the work environment involves exposure to noise, weather, and potential hazards.
