About the Role

The foreman is responsible for supervising crew activities, training team members in pruning techniques, operating vehicles safely, and coordinating storm‑restoration efforts. He/she must communicate effectively with customers, property owners, and crew members to convey project details and obtain approvals. • Enforce safe work practices and follow company safety rules and procedures. • Schedule crews efficiently and assign tasks. • Maintain accurate written and electronic records and complete required paperwork. • Communicate project issues, procedures, and techniques to customers and property owners. • Lead, train, and coach team members on natural and directional pruning methods. • Operate vehicles and equipment safely and maintain them in good condition. • Perform visual observations and safety checks during vegetation management. • Join storm‑restoration efforts as needed and adapt quickly to schedule changes. • Ensure crew members execute work as planned and comply with the Line Clearance Contract. • Inspect personal protective equipment and ensure proper PPE usage. • Provide on‑the‑job training for less experienced climbers and bucket operators. • Accept accountability for crew availability and performance. • Travel long distances on short notice and work extended periods at various locations. • Participate in ongoing technical and leadership training.

What You Bring

The position demands physical stamina for prolonged outdoor work, ability to work at heights and confined spaces, and familiarity with PPE, radio protocols, and hand‑tool maintenance. Employees must adhere to company safety rules, complete required paperwork, and participate in ongoing technical and leadership training. • Possess broad knowledge of climbing, mechanical, and manual aspects of electrical line clearance. • Lift >50 lb, work at heights/confined spaces, and conduct physical labor in inclement weather. • Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and customer‑service skills.
