About the Role
The Inside Sales role focuses on resolving basic customer requests, including sample orders, documentation inquiries, product introductions, and website navigation, while maintaining professional phone and email communication. The representative also identifies growth opportunities, suggests process improvements, and adheres to company safety and environmental policies. Daily duties involve answering inbound calls, meeting phone metrics, correcting estimate or order issues, understanding hardware templates, warranty claims, and manufacturing specifications, and following escalation protocols with relevant teams. Flexibility is required for occasional weekends, extended hours, minimal travel for training, and any additional tasks assigned by the Inside Sales Supervisor. • Resolve customer sample requests, order documentation inquiries, and product information queries. • Guide customers through website and e‑tool navigation and retrieve account details. • Identify and recommend opportunities for growth, process improvement, and enhanced engagement. • Answer inbound calls, maintain phone metrics/KPIs, and communicate professionally via email. • Correct issues in customer estimates or orders and understand hardware templates and specifications. • Follow internal escalation procedures and collaborate with cross‑functional teams for issue resolution. • Adhere to safety, environmental regulations and work occasional weekends or extended hours as needed. • Travel minimally for training purposes and perform additional duties assigned by the Supervisor. • Manage multiple tasks independently while meeting daily performance benchmarks.

What You Bring
Successful candidates demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, the ability to stay calm under pressure, excellent organization and multitasking, and a keen attention to detail. They must be proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and possess solid math skills for handling decimals, fractions, discounting, and interpreting measurements. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1‑2 years of customer service experience preferred; an associate degree or related experience in door/frame construction, building supplies, or manufacturing is a plus. • Demonstrate strong verbal/written communication, calm handling of stressful situations, and high attention to detail. • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) and possess solid foundational math skills. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; 1‑2 years of customer service experience preferred; associate degree or related industry experience advantageous.
