About the Role
The Outside Sales Representative role drives sales, rentals, and installation of temporary fencing solutions within an assigned territory, aiming to grow revenue, strengthen customer relationships, and enhance Sunbelt’s brand presence in key market segments. Key duties include developing and executing territory sales plans, prospecting new business through calls and visits, delivering technical proposals, coordinating with internal operations for on‑time project delivery, tracking market trends, and maintaining accurate CRM records. • Champion Sunbelt’s safety culture and execute territory sales plans. • Prospect and acquire new customers via calls, visits, and cold outreach. • Provide technical sales expertise and tailored application solutions. • Prepare detailed proposals, close orders, and ensure on‑time project delivery. • Track competitor activity, market trends, and maintain accurate CRM records. • Partner with management to set and achieve sales goals, KPIs, and revenue targets. • Deliver equipment training, support demos, deliveries, and diagnostics. • Serve as primary contact throughout the temporary fencing project lifecycle. • Build and manage relationships with partners across Sunbelt’s divisions.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, have at least two years of construction‑related sales experience, and possess a proven record of consultative selling, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • Minimum 2+ years of construction‑related sales experience. • Proven consultative selling track record. • Strong construction knowledge; ability to learn engineering concepts quickly. • Excellent communication, self‑starter, highly organized, detail‑oriented. • Ability to manage multiple clients and opportunities independently. • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
