About the Role
The driver is responsible for operating a heavy‑duty truck on designated transfer routes, ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state and federal regulations. Pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections are performed using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report, and any issues are documented for corrective action. The driver must keep the vehicle clean and safe throughout the shift. Throughout each day the driver follows assigned routes, dumps containers, positions them correctly, and leaves the site free of debris. Customer requests and any incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions are reported promptly to dispatch or the Operations Manager. Participation in required training, briefings, and meetings supports continuous improvement of route efficiency and safety. • Safely operate a heavy‑duty truck following OSHA, DOT, and company standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using DVIR and document issues. • Report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, or property damage to Operations Manager or Dispatch immediately. • Participate in required training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Follow route assignments, dump containers, clean sites, and position containers properly. • Communicate customer requests and issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal.

What You Bring
The position requires a Class B Commercial Driver’s License and a minimum age of 18. Applicants must pass a DOT drug screen, physical examination, background check, and have an acceptable driving record.
