About the Role

• Drive project success with strong commercial awareness and balanced decision‑making • Lead and develop high‑performing teams, fostering collaboration across internal groups, subcontractors and clients • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships aligned with company values • Take full responsibility for project financial performance, including P&L, forecasting, cost control and reporting • Prepare and review performance reports for monthly financial and programme reviews • Ensure compliance with company financial, commercial and Health & Safety procedures • Manage contract documentation, price variations and final account agreements • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to optimise resources and meet client requirements • Conduct site visits and meetings to oversee progress, resolve issues and maintain programmes • Identify and mitigate risks early to minimise delays and cost impacts • Promote innovation, continuous improvement and best practice across projects • Champion sustainability and meet environmental objectives • Encourage use of digital tools and data‑driven approaches to improve outcomes

What You Bring

• Hold ONC/HNC/BEng or NVQ equivalent in engineering or related discipline • Proven experience managing contracts in the water/wastewater sector • Sound understanding of NEC contracts • Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities • Ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • Commercially aware with strong problem‑solving skills • Flexible, resilient and adaptable to change • Honest, ethical and professional in all interactions • Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH, SMSTS) and CSCS card holder
