About the Role
The Laborer provides manual labor on construction and plant‑operations sites, delivering high‑quality work while maintaining safety and productivity. The role requires continual feedback to ensure that materials, tools, equipment, and information are readily available, and a willingness to learn and improve work methods. Daily duties include site clean‑up, excavation, material handling, and operating various power tools such as vibrators, compactors, jackhammers and chipping guns. The Laborer also assists other skilled tradespeople and performs other physical tasks that require minimal skill or experience. • Perform general site clean‑up and debris removal. • Dig footings and trenches using hand tools. • Backfill excavations. • Load and unload construction materials. • Strip and remove concrete forms. • Operate power tools including vibrators, compactors, jackhammers, and chipping guns. • Set braces to support excavation sides. • Assist other craft workers as needed. • Use hand and power tools safely with proper training and authorization. • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, ladders, and scaffolds. • Work on uneven, muddy, sandy, or rocky surfaces and in confined spaces. • Perform tasks in adverse weather conditions and may be required to wear a respirator. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. • Maintain focus, make decisions, and attend to detailed observations while working under distractions.

What You Bring
Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lb (occasionally 100 lb), repetitive hand and arm use, climbing ladders or scaffolds, and working on uneven, muddy or rocky terrain in all weather conditions.
