About the Role
The Insurance Procurement & Compliance Manager supports the Risk Management Team in overseeing the organization’s comprehensive insurance and risk management program. The role focuses on strategic procurement of corporate and project‑specific policies, evaluates vendor insurance requirements, and helps identify and assess risks that could affect the organization’s reputation, safety, security, or financial success. This position works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective risk mitigation. • Assist Risk Management leadership with procurement, renewal, and administration of corporate insurance programs. • Collect data and manage policy underwriting for special projects and land development bonds. • Participate in strategic meetings related to insurance and risk initiatives. • Partner with insurance brokers and carriers to negotiate coverage terms, limits, endorsements, deductibles, self‑insurance retentions, and pricing. • Review binders and policies for accuracy in coverage, premiums, endorsements, and invoicing. • Provide comprehensive reviews of insurance and indemnity language to mitigate risks in vendor and joint venture agreements. • Create, update, and maintain Schedule A – insurance requirements for company vendors. • Support the writing, revision, and updating of company policies, procedures, and contract documents. • Organize and facilitate training sessions on insurance terminology, construction insurance, and land development insurance requirements.

What You Bring
• Minimum five years of relevant risk management experience; college degree preferred. • Strong time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and drive progress with internal stakeholders and vendors. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. • Capable of creating business impact analyses through reports and presentations. • Demonstrated commitment to excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
