About the Role
The Concierge role leads the front‑desk team and sets new standards for quality, ensuring residents experience luxury living. As the face of AvalonBay, you welcome prospects and residents, monitor foot traffic, provide top‑notch service, and partner with leasing and maintenance to create a seamless move‑in and move‑out experience. The position works Saturdays and Sundays from 3 pm to 11 pm and can supplement other work. • Tackle new problems and follow through to completion, showing care and attention to residents. • Remain patient and poised during difficult situations, delivering excellent customer service to residents, vendors and prospects. • Stay organized with phone messages, resident packages and maintenance requests, ensuring efficient escalation and resolution.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience in a hotel, retail or restaurant setting, proficiency with administrative software and Microsoft Office, and the ability to walk the property and handle packages. • Communicate clearly in person and over the phone, providing information, direction and quality conversations. • Manage time effectively, juggling multiple tasks and time‑sensitive requests while staying composed and positive. • Hold a High School diploma or GED (required). • Possess 1+ years of experience in a hotel, retail or restaurant environment (preferred). • Proficient in administrative software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Able to walk the property and handle packages/deliveries.
