About the Role

The Engineer will also manage client expectations, provide regular progress updates, and ensure Parsons’ rights and obligations are fulfilled. • Manage engineering scope, schedules, change management, and project closeout while tracking budget and timeline. • Coordinate approvals and handover with authorities and agencies. • Interface with contractors/sub‑contractors to ensure contract compliance. • Review and approve work, change orders, and ensure adherence to codes, standards, and quality. • Communicate progress updates and manage client expectations. • Ensure Parsons’ contractual rights and obligations are met.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking a Resident Engineer (Roads & Infrastructure) in Dubai, UAE to manage construction supervision of roads and infrastructure projects. The role involves overseeing engineering scope, schedules, change management, and closeout, while monitoring progress to meet schedule and budget requirements. Candidates must hold a civil engineering degree from a recognized university and have at least 15 years of post‑graduate experience supervising and managing construction of major roads, bridges, and infrastructure, preferably in the GCC region. Strong communication, technical knowledge of standards and codes, computer proficiency, and understanding of construction health, safety, and environment are also required. Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, staff mentoring, and effective coordination with clients and stakeholders are desirable.
