About the Role
Key responsibilities include maintaining an effective control framework in line with ICFR and COSO, documenting processes, conducting walkthroughs, and coordinating remediation of control deficiencies. The role also requires staying current on SOX, GAAP, and regulatory updates, providing SOX training, supporting report logic testing, and collaborating on data‑analytics integration and acquisition or system change impacts. • Maintain and assess control design and operating effectiveness per ICFR and COSO standards. • Develop and update process documentation, including narratives, flowcharts, and risk matrices. • Conduct walkthroughs to validate control operation and document findings. • Coordinate timely remediation of identified control deficiencies. • Monitor and implement updates to SOX, GAAP, and related regulatory requirements. • Provide SOX compliance training and guidance to business units. • Execute annual report logic testing to ensure reporting accuracy. • Collaborate with technology, finance, and operations to integrate data analytics into SOX processes. • Assist with control impacts during acquisitions or system changes.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, be a CPA, and possess 5‑10 years of progressive accounting experience in large public companies, preferably with public‑accounting background. Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and change‑management skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI or Alteryx. • Hold a CPA credential and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. • Bring 5‑10 years of experience in accounting for $5B+ public companies. • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem‑solving abilities. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiar with Power BI or Alteryx.
