About the Role
The primary purpose of the role is to lead project‑management commissions, taking full responsibility for end‑to‑end service delivery, and to support major commissions by overseeing specific aspects of delivery. What You Bring
We are seeking Project Managers to join our expanding Bristol Defence Infrastructure business, supporting construction infrastructure projects and programmes across the South/South‑West and nationally. Candidates must be sole UK nationals able to achieve and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC) due to the sensitive nature of the work. The role suits professionals from Defence, Rail, Water/Utilities or Highways backgrounds with proven experience in complex projects, and NEC accreditation is preferred. Project sizes typically range from £1 million to £10 million, with larger scopes when acting in a supporting capacity. Applicants need a minimum of five years’ experience focused on NEC contracts and expertise in NEC, JCT or FIDIC contract administration. Exceptional verbal, presentation and written communication skills, self‑motivation, strategic problem‑solving abilities and experience managing multiple stakeholders within NEC frameworks are essential. Knowledge of CDM and site health‑and‑safety requirements as they relate to NEC contracts is also required. A degree in an infrastructure or construction‑related subject is required, with chartered or professional membership (ICE, APM, RICS etc.) preferred. Successful candidates must obtain and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC), and eligibility may be affected by birthplace, nationality or residency. • Provide at least 5 years experience with NEC contracts and contract administration (NEC/JCT/FIDIC). • Demonstrate exceptional verbal, presentation and written communication skills. • Hold a degree in infrastructure or construction; chartered status (ICE, APM, RICS) preferred.
