About the Role

The Leasing Consultant role focuses on all aspects of leasing, marketing, and resident relations for a property. Responsibilities include showing units, qualifying prospects, completing lease paperwork, managing lead follow‑up, executing marketing initiatives, handling resident inquiries, and supporting retention programs while maintaining accurate data and adhering to Fair Housing and OSHA standards. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; qualify and tour the community. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up to close leases. • Complete leasing paperwork before move‑in and assist with lease audits and unit turn processes. • Maintain accurate prospect traffic data and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios, and meet leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks and resolve resident complaints, concerns, and requests. • Develop and implement resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Assist with office, common area, and model unit upkeep and cleaning. • Support annual marketing plan outreach and conduct ongoing market surveys and analysis. • Maintain thorough product knowledge of property, competition, and market conditions; submit weekly market reports. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and project a favorable community image. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent; basic computer skills; ability to use on‑site software. • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lb, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and handle overtime, weekend, or emergency shifts.
