About the Role

In this role you will analyze customer specifications to ensure Hitachi Power Grids solutions meet requirements, create technical specification documents and both conceptual and detailed designs, and produce, review and coordinate technical information with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers. You will evaluate vendor and sub‑supplier drawings, validate designs against applicable regulations, perform technical price‑bid evaluations, and manage planning, follow‑up and site activities while advising project teams on best practices, safety guidelines and regulatory compliance. Coordination with civil, MEP, electrical and mechanical departments, as well as the project/tender team, is essential for identifying risks and opportunities and ensuring compliance with external and internal regulations. • Analyze customer specifications to ensure solution compliance. • Prepare technical specifications, conceptual and detailed designs. • Produce, review, and coordinate technical information with stakeholders. • Validate vendor drawings and designs against regulations and standards. • Perform technical evaluation of price bids for procurement. • Plan, track, and follow up on project and site activities. • Advise project and site teams on best practices, safety, and compliance. • Coordinate with civil, MEP, electrical, and mechanical departments. • Identify risks and opportunities throughout project lifecycle. • Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and guidelines.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering, has at least five years of relevant experience (including three years in telecommunications), and possesses expertise in access‑control, CCTV, intrusion detection, public‑address, telecom and video‑conference system design, along with knowledge of international standards and strong communication skills. • Hold a bachelor's or master's in mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering. • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in telecommunications. • Experience designing access‑control, CCTV, intrusion detection, PA, telecom, and video‑conference systems. • Knowledge of international regulations and standards; proficient in MS Office. • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
