About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications & Analyst Relations, the AR Manager will expand Autodesk’s influence with top industry analysts. The role combines strategic storytelling with cross‑functional collaboration in a matrixed organization, focusing on relationship‑building and establishing Autodesk as a market leader. The manager will define and promote Autodesk’s Design and Make narrative within the analyst ecosystem, collaborating with Communications, Marketing, Product, and Strategy teams to align engagement with category leadership goals. This includes ensuring analysts recognize Autodesk’s role in connecting design and make workflows and differentiating the company from competitors. Key responsibilities involve building and managing strong relationships with analysts at firms such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC, coordinating briefings, inquiries, and events, and overseeing Autodesk’s participation in major analyst evaluations like the Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave, and IDC MarketScape. The manager will also partner with an AR agency to deliver ongoing strategy, engagement, and measurement. The role prepares executives and subject‑matter experts for analyst interactions with briefing materials, messaging, and follow‑ups, while capturing and synthesizing analyst feedback to inform messaging, positioning, and go‑to‑market strategy. Summarized insights are distributed to internal stakeholders to guide decisions and strengthen alignment. The AR Manager tracks and measures program impact—including perception, sentiment, and share of voice—maintains the analyst engagement calendar, database, and coverage tracker, and supports planning, reporting, and budget management for the function. • Define and drive Autodesk’s Design and Make narrative within the analyst ecosystem. • Align analyst engagement with category leadership goals across Communications, Marketing, Product, and Strategy teams. • Build and maintain relationships with key analysts such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC. • Coordinate analyst briefings, inquiries, events, and manage participation in evaluations like Magic Quadrant and Forrester Wave. • Partner with the AR agency to deliver ongoing analyst strategy, engagement, and measurement. • Prepare executives and SMEs with briefing materials, messaging, and follow‑ups for analyst interactions. • Capture, synthesize, and distribute analyst feedback to inform internal positioning and go‑to‑market strategy. • Track and measure AR program impact, including perception, sentiment, and share of voice. • Maintain the analyst engagement calendar, database, coverage tracker, and support AR budget management.

What You Bring
Candidates need at least six years of experience in Analyst Relations, Corporate Communications, or B2B technology marketing, with a proven record of managing analyst relationships and research evaluations for top‑tier firms. Strong communication skills, organization, ownership, and experience with AR management tools and agency partners are essential. Familiarity with Autodesk’s industries and design‑and‑make technology, product and technology communications experience, and comfort working with senior executives and cross‑functional leadership teams are preferred. • Minimum 6+ years experience in Analyst Relations, Corporate Communications, or B2B technology marketing. • Proven success managing analyst relationships and research evaluations with top‑tier firms. • Strong communication skills to simplify complex technology concepts and craft compelling narratives. • Experience using AR management tools and collaborating with agency partners. • Familiarity with Autodesk’s design and make industries and technology (preferred).
