About the Role
The Program Director – Facilities Assessment & Planning will lead a multidisciplinary team of project managers, assessors, planners, and other professionals serving major portfolio owners such as cities, universities, school districts, hospital systems, and corporations. The role expands construction management (CM) and project management (PM) services by leveraging existing FCA contracts, targeting and converting them into comprehensive CM and PM contracts, and cultivating long‑term client partnerships. • Manage P&L and develop group strategy to attract new clients and expand services. • Create annual business plans, lead business development, and oversee proposal processes. • Identify, target, and sell CM and PM services, converting FCA contracts into comprehensive management contracts. • Lead negotiations for prime and sub‑contracts, allocate resources, and manage a diverse project portfolio across North America. • Build integrated sales strategies to expand construction and project management services with existing clients. • Travel to client or project sites to strengthen relationships and ensure project success.

What You Bring
We seek a strategic leader with a proven track record in business development, project management, and client relationship expansion. The ideal candidate has experience in facility asset and condition assessments, master planning, capital improvement planning, and program and construction management, holds a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and brings at least ten years of relevant experience. Knowledge of commercial construction codes, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to balance development, operations, and strategic sales are essential. • Proven track record in business development, project management, and client relationship expansion. • Experience with facility asset/condition assessments, master planning, capital improvement, and program/construction management. • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related field; 10+ years of relevant experience. • Knowledge of commercial construction codes and their application to existing facilities. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with aptitude for building long‑term client relationships. • Preferred: ASHRAE Levels I and II energy audits, infrared thermal imaging, risk and resilience assessments, security & cybersecurity vulnerability assessments, electrical utility condition assessments, demographic studies and K‑12 enrollment projections.
