About the Role

The Quality Manager leads and develops all quality personnel across multiple functions, including return material, inspections, supplier and manufacturing quality, and compliance. They monitor plant‑wide quality performance, act as the primary contact for customer concerns, and ensure readiness for third‑party assessments and regulatory certifications. The role also drives goal setting for manufacturing and supplier quality teams and promotes awareness of customer and regulatory requirements. • Oversee hiring, training, and mentorship of quality staff across warranty, inspection, supplier, and compliance functions. • Monitor overall plant quality metrics and implement corrective actions as needed. • Serve as primary contact for customer issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions. • Ensure organizational readiness for customer and third‑party audits, maintaining FAA approvals and certifications (AS9100, NADCAP, etc.). • Direct disposition and analysis of returned material, non‑conforming products, and manage delegated MRB authority. • Drive action on top Pareto items and manage customer portals and scorecards to meet requirements. • Maintain and report quality metrics such as FRY, DPPM, scrap cost, warranty cost, and corrective‑action on‑time delivery.

What You Bring

The position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, at least five years of quality experience in manufacturing, and three years of technical team supervision. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and meet U.S. export‑control person requirements. Preferred credentials include Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, ASQ CQE or CMQOE, and familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace regulatory standards. • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. • Minimum 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment. • Minimum 3 years of experience supervising a technical team. • Legal U.S. work authorization with no need for future sponsorship; qualifies as a U.S. person for export‑controlled information. • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQOE). • Working knowledge of Quality Management System standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, TS16949) and aerospace regulatory requirements.
