About the Role
• Act as pre‑sales technical advisor for architectures, systems, and cross‑Business Unit solutions. • Lead customer‑focused technical discussions to identify needs, validate requirements, and shape the value proposition. • Conduct site walks, interface with customer technical teams, and support sales engagements. • Educate customers on Schneider Electric offers, modernization paths, digital services, and lifecycle management. • Support 1–2 Business Unit offers while collaborating with sales and operations “fighting teams.” • Lead moderate‑complexity opportunities, engaging Solution Architects or Virtual Architects as needed. • Prioritize and manage multiple projects across sellers, ensuring appropriate internal resources. • Create solution layouts and system designs that deliver measurable value. • Validate the technical integrity of quotations and align with field leaders. • Develop and maintain reference architectures and segment solution requirements for repeatable solutions. • Partner with sales on RFIs/RFPs and contribute to high‑quality service proposals. • Work with Services Excellence teams to drive continuous improvement and enhance customer outcomes. • Provide feedback to Offer Management on feature enhancements and emerging needs. • Coach and mentor internal teams to build broader technical capability.

What You Bring
The System Architect acts as a trusted technical advisor to sales teams and customers, aligning Schneider Electric’s multi‑Business Unit offerings with client needs to design solutions and develop opportunities. The role provides pre‑sales technical leadership, creates reference architectures, and ensures the integrity and value of customized solutions. Collaboration is essential, partnering with sales, solution architects, and field leaders across modernization, maintenance, consulting, and digital services engagements. While there are no direct account‑management duties, deep familiarity with account strategy and stakeholder alignment is required. • Travel up to 50% within assigned geography for technical conversations and on‑site assessments. • Must reside in the territory, hold a BSEE/BSME or 3–5 years relevant experience, and possess knowledge of energy management, industry standards, and digital tools.

Benefits
The position is based in the United States with an annual compensation range of $108,800 to $163,200 plus commission. Salary within this band is set according to performance, knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
