In-Store Cleaning Manager

About the Role

We are recruiting an In‑Store Cleaning Manager to supervise the team delivering high‑quality cleaning services at Sainsbury’s Canterbury and also perform some cleaning tasks personally. You will support recruiting and training the cleaning team, plan rotas and work patterns, and complete timesheets to ensure correct pay. You must be flexible with working times to meet business needs. Health & Safety is the top priority, so you will monitor and manage it for yourself and all site staff, with equipment and support provided. • Supervise and clean alongside the in‑store cleaning team • Recruit, train, schedule and manage rotas for cleaning staff • Process timesheets to ensure accurate payroll • Maintain Health & Safety standards for all site personnel • Provide flexibility in working hours to meet store needs • Manage stock and inventory of cleaning supplies • Handle employee relations, including investigations, disciplinaries and performance management • Work 35 hours across six days with defined shift times (Sunday off)

Benefits

Location: Sainsbury's Canterbury. Job Title: In Store Cleaning Manager. Pay Rate: £13.21 per hour (overtime rate to be confirmed during interview). Working hours are 35 hours over 6 days, with Sunday off and shift times ranging from 05:00 to 11:00 on most days.
