About the Role
Building engineering at HDR goes beyond systems and structures; it powers progress and enables innovation. As part of the Building Engineering Services (BES) Group, you will design critical infrastructure for the digital age—ranging from high‑performance data centers that drive AI to dynamic commercial spaces that support sustainability, technology, and human experience. • Manage the digital model environment and deliverables for entire projects. • Generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) with project leadership. • Establish server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables at project initiation. • Execute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout the project lifecycle. • Provide technical support and communicate deliverable schedules to the project team. • Monitor model health and coordination processes from planning through construction document issuance. • Set up and maintain document management systems and multi‑discipline server infrastructure. • Ensure the team has appropriate software, versions, access, and training. • Host coordination meetings to enforce quality control via design reviews and 3D coordination. • Communicate, compile, and exchange all project digital deliverables at key milestones. • Archive projects at submittal and closeout stages.

What You Bring
The BES team in downtown Chicago is a young, self‑motivated group eager to grow, and they are looking for talented BIM Model Coordinators to lead and mentor them on Revit management and project delivery. In this role, you will help shape the digital model environment, support production teams, and ensure high‑quality coordination across disciplines. • Understand interdisciplinary interactions and the production of construction documents. • Technical degree or equivalent education and experience. • Minimum of 5 years' experience in digital design (BIM authoring). • Advanced proficiency with 3D design software, coordination tools, and document management. • Familiarity with industry standards, discipline codes, specifications, and automation for efficiency. • Strong client service, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
