About the Role
The position reports to senior leadership and will oversee multiple client programs, ensuring delivery against quality, cost and schedule targets. Responsibilities include strategic oversight, risk management, governance, mentorship of program staff and support for business development. • Direct engagement with senior clients influencing portfolio outcomes • Provide strategic program oversight rather than day‑to‑day project delivery • Maintain and grow senior client relationships, chair meetings and present updates • Identify, assess and manage program‑wide risks as the escalation point • Oversee governance, compliance, reporting and program documentation • Mentor and guide Program Managers and Coordinators • Promote consistency, standardisation and continual improvement across the PM function • Support business development through proposals and client engagement • Review and challenge cost plans, schedules and dashboards from delivery teams

The role focuses on program governance, client relationships, and building a high‑performing Program Management Office. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker and effective communicator with deep built‑environment experience. To apply, click the “apply now” button referencing Position Reference Number 166132. • Proven program or project management experience in property, construction, infrastructure, utilities or telecom sectors • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or programs • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence executive‑level stakeholders • Expertise in portfolio‑level governance, risk and reporting • Strong written and verbal communication with senior client presentation skills • High organisational, time‑management and analytical abilities • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and the MS Office suite • Tertiary qualification in construction, project management or property (preferred) • PRINCE2 and/or MSP certification (preferred) • Experience in capital works, contract mobilisation or compliance programs (preferred)
