About the Role
Although the position has no direct reports, the incumbent may occasionally supervise helpers and laborers, applying positional authority and expertise. The role supports Zachry’s dedication to safety and operational excellence. • Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope, material quantities, and sizes • Identify required tools and safety risks, implement precautions • Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications • Install valves, hangers, supports, and flanges per plans and specifications • Perform tests to ensure pipe and system quality • Hoist loads using rigging equipment (slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables)

What You Bring
The Industrial Pipe Fitter role demands at least four years of hands‑on experience, the ability to read and interpret engineering prints, and thorough knowledge of pipe‑fitting procedures. Candidates must exhibit strong leadership, communication, and teamwork capabilities while working on industrial construction projects. A solid record of problem‑solving, manual dexterity, and independent work under minimal supervision is essential, along with a commitment to Zachry’s safety standards and values. Preferred candidates include current or former Zachry employees, those holding NCCER certification, and individuals with formal technical education.
