About the Role
Account Managers serve in a collaborative, client-facing capacity, providing advisory and technical support to building owners, property managers, and other stakeholders. They help stakeholders understand regulatory requirements, evaluate options, and advance projects using program tools, resources, and partner networks such as the Momentum platform. • Act as the primary point of contact for building stakeholders, advising on Local Law 97 and related NYC energy and emissions regulations. • Assist stakeholders in using the Momentum platform, covering data requirements, output interpretation, and next steps. • Provide technical assistance for energy-efficiency, electrification, resiliency, and retrofit projects, including complex building conditions. • Help stakeholders refine building-specific decarbonization roadmaps aligned with compliance timelines, needs, and financial considerations. • Educate stakeholders on technologies, incentives, financing options, and support application processes. • Support the program’s service-provider network with RFI/RFP assistance and bid-comparison guidance. • Track and report account activity and performance metrics to inform program strategy and continuous improvement. • Participate in outreach activities such as webinars, events, and trainings. • Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and city agencies to meet program objectives and stakeholder needs. • Work collaboratively with clients and internal staff. • Prioritize multiple projects and tasks to deliver high-quality results on time. • Apply sound reasoning, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities to serve clients in real time. • Provide building decarbonization advisory services related to Local Law 97 or performance standards.

What You Bring
• Hold a bachelor’s degree and/or at least four years of relevant experience in energy efficiency, clean energy, electrification, energy sales, incentives, sustainability, or NYC public programs. • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills for engaging diverse NYC building stakeholders and subcontractors. • Possess experience with project-management platforms and CRM systems. • Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, entrepreneurial environment and attend NYC events as required. • Have working knowledge of building science, energy-efficiency, clean-energy, and electrification technologies. • Be familiar with or experienced in interpreting and implementing NYC local energy laws and building-compliance policies. • Experience collaborating with NYC building agencies, CBOs, non-profits, real-estate stakeholders, and contractor communities. • Proficient in Salesforce.
