Job Highlights
About the Role
Drivers safely operate heavy‑duty trucks on assigned transfer routes, complying with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulations while maintaining a clean, safe vehicle. They complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, document findings on DVIR forms, and report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or service issues to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. Drivers also participate in required training, collaborate to improve route efficiency, and ensure containers are dumped, positioned correctly, and sites are left tidy. • Operate heavy‑duty trucks safely on transfer routes following OSHA and DOT regulations. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and record issues on DVIR forms. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, or service calls immediately to management. • Participate in all required trainings, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Assist fellow drivers as directed and perform assigned duties according to schedule. • Dump containers, clean customer sites, and position containers correctly to avoid obstructions. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Follow daily route assignments and finalize documentation at end of shift. • Maintain an acceptable driving record.

Applicants must hold a Class B Commercial Driver’s License, be at least 18 years old, and pass a DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and driving‑record review. A REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative may be required for travel to federal sites.
