About the Role
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution equipment throughout the building. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems to ensure smooth operations. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. • Create, assign, close work orders and track labor hours, equipment maintenance, parts used, and inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.

What You Bring
The position requires physical stamina, including overhead reach, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using aerial lifts, and lifting up to 50 lb of equipment, while wearing appropriate PPE. Technicians work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures, travel between departments covering 6‑12 miles daily, and spend 1‑2 hours per day on computer tasks. • High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyors. • 2+ years experience in predictive and preventative maintenance; 1+ years blueprint and schematic reading. • 1+ years knowledge of electrical and electronic principles; experience with CMMS. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; ability to manage documents effectively. • Ability to work flexible schedules or shifts. • Associate degree or higher in mechanical or electrical field (preferred). • Experience with MHE safety standards and robotic operation/maintenance (preferred). • Physical ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use aerial lifts, and lift up to 50 lb. • Wear required PPE such as hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes.
