About the Role
As a Technician (Fan Blade Manufacturing) you will work on the shop floor, using hand tools, gauges, fixtures and hydraulic or pneumatic equipment to produce high‑precision hollow titanium fan blades. The role is part of Rolls‑Royce’s commitment to pioneering cutting‑edge, digital‑first technologies that deliver the cleanest, safest and most competitive power solutions for aviation. • Operate CNC machines, furnaces, automated robots and process lines. • Work in a cleanroom environment on bonding, NDT (X‑ray, FPI, UT) and etching lines. • Follow technique sheets and quality procedures. • Implement improvement initiatives and maintain 5S and housekeeping standards. • Interpret and read 3‑D feature drawings. • Work rotating shifts, including overtime, weekends and public holidays.
