About the Role

In this strategic role you will expand Hitachi Energy’s presence across the Generation segment of the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) market, building meaningful partnerships and shaping growth in fast‑evolving energy markets. The position requires 25–50% travel to engage customers and attend key industry events while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and internal guidelines. You will collaborate across engineering, commercial, legal and product teams to deliver value‑driven proposals, influence market direction, and represent a trusted brand at major industry conferences and trade shows. The role supports the company’s focus on sustainability, digitalization, and customer success. • Develop and execute business development strategies for C&I Generation markets • Identify, qualify and advance opportunities in natural gas, renewables, nuclear and related sectors • Build and nurture long‑term customer relationships at all organizational levels • Partner with engineering, commercial, legal and product teams to create tailored solutions • Conduct industry and competitive analyses to spot trends and growth opportunities • Represent Hitachi Energy at conferences, trade shows and industry events • Prepare and deliver segment profiles to strengthen marketing and sales initiatives • Promote innovation and thought leadership within the C&I space

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field (MBA a plus) • Bring at least 8 years of business development, sales or account management experience in C&I markets • Demonstrate a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth • Possess strong understanding of C&I market trends, challenges and technological advancements • Exhibit excellent communication skills to translate complex technical and commercial concepts • Willingness to travel 25–50% for customer engagements and industry events
