About the Role
The engineer will lead project activities, capture the customer voice, manage milestones, and participate in technical reviews and on‑job development. Responsibilities include product design, testing, prototype building, performance evaluation, and applying DFSS tools such as P‑DSC, DFMEA and risk management. • Capture customer requirements, manage project milestones, and communicate during technical reviews. • Design, test, and ensure compliance of hydraulic and fuel conveyance products. • Build prototypes, conduct performance testing, and dismantle samples to validate designs. • Apply DFSS tools (P‑DSC, P‑Diagram, DFMEA, risk management, DVPR) for new product development and improvements. • Maintain design standards, procedures, and document control for the business group. • Drive NPI PRO‑Launch execution, secure work package approvals, and deliver engineering milestones. • Leverage manufacturing process knowledge to enhance designs and serve as a technical resource for internal and external customers. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify technical issues, conduct testing, and resolve field failures.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or ME/M.Tech) with at least four years of experience, or a Master’s degree with one year of relevant product design experience. Proficiency in CAD (preferably CATIA) and PLM tools, knowledge of aerospace conveyance systems, and familiarity with DFSS methodologies are required. Strong analytical, root‑cause analysis, and creative problem‑solving skills are essential. • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (4+ years experience) or ME/M.Tech; Master’s degree with 1+ year relevant experience. • Proficient in one or more CAD tools, preferably CATIA, and experienced with PLM systems. • Experience with aerospace conveyance systems, hose and tube assemblies, fittings, couplings, and swivels. • Familiarity with DFSS tools such as FMEA, FMECA, and Monte Carlo analysis. • Strong root‑cause analysis, creative thinking, and commitment to project excellence.
