Process Engineer (Downstream)
Collect, analyze, and validate process data for refinery/petrochemical units.
Job Highlights
About the Role
The role involves collecting, validating, and organizing process operating data from refinery and petrochemical units, analyzing key process inputs such as pressure, temperature, flow, composition, AIT, flash point, H₂S and ammonia concentration, and supporting corrosion rate estimation and material degradation assessments for equipment, piping, and pipelines. The candidate will work closely with process, materials, and reliability engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, understand technical summaries, datasheets, and engineering documentation, and participate in review meetings to support clients. • Collect and validate operating data from refinery and petrochemical units. • Analyze safety‑critical process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, composition, AIT, flash point, H₂S, ammonia). • Support corrosion rate estimation and material degradation assessments. • Collaborate with process, materials, and reliability engineering teams to ensure data accuracy. • Interpret P&IDs, PFDs, datasheets, and equipment design documents. • Use MS Excel to manage and analyze large datasets. • Produce clear documentation and communicate findings effectively.
