About the Role
• Provide daily site inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications and codes and maintain up‑to‑date project records. • Review contractor submittals, requests for information, change order requests, and as‑built drawings. • Measure and record pay items. • Coordinate job progress meetings. • Communicate conditions and field conflicts/changes to the Owner. • Provide recommendations for field issues. • Work closely with team members and personnel from utilities, state, local, and federal agencies.

What You Bring
WSP USA Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to inspect water distribution systems, treatment facilities, wastewater collection systems, pump stations, and treatment plants in Charles County, MD. The role supports construction management and inspection services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. • Demonstrate independent and effective problem‑solving/decision‑making. • High School Diploma. • 5 years’ experience in water/wastewater pumping stations and treatment plants. • Experience in field inspection or construction supervision of civil works projects such as earthwork, roads, utilities, infrastructure, paving, piping, and HVAC. • Knowledge of ASTM, ACI, and other construction testing requirements; proficiency with nuclear gauges, concrete sampling, and safety practices. • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
