About the Role

Typical duties include cleaning offices, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas; operating propane buffers, super strippers, low‑speed buffers, carpet extractors, and automatic scrubbers; and cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies, blinds, light fixtures, windows, doors, and walls. The tech also assists with project cleaning such as moving furniture, refinishing floors, shampooing carpets, and washing walls, while reporting equipment malfunctions and schedule issues to the supervisor. Additional tasks may involve sweeping sidewalks, picking up trash, and other outside cleaning chores as needed. • Strip, wax, and buff floors using power equipment. • Clean offices, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms. • Operate propane buffers, super strippers, low‑speed buffers, carpet extractors, and automatic scrubbers. • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies, blinds, light fixtures, windows, and doors. • Assist with furniture relocation, floor refinishing, carpet shampooing, and wall washing. • Report equipment malfunctions and schedule issues to the supervisor. • Perform outside cleaning tasks such as sweeping sidewalks and trash removal.

What You Bring

The Floor Tech is responsible for stripping, waxing, and buffing floors, operating various floor‑care equipment, and performing any additional cleaning duties assigned by the supervisor. Knowledge of power equipment operation is essential for maintaining and up‑keeping hard‑surface floors. No prior experience or training is required, but candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to lift and move up to 50 lb repeatedly. Physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and using hands for detailed work; vision requirements include close focus and the ability to adjust focus. • Lift and move up to 50 lb repeatedly; stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crawl as needed. • Hold a valid driver’s license; no prior experience required.

The role pays $17 per hour and works Sunday to Thursday from 10 pm to 7 am.
