About the Role

To thrive as an R&D Assistant, you’ll support daily lab, warehouse, and administrative operations that help our R&D team move projects forward. Under general supervision, you will complete a variety of administrative tasks and provide general laboratory, warehouse, and delivery support. • Perform procurement tasks such as entering requisitions and managing purchase orders. • Coordinate and schedule meetings, conference room setups, and supplier visits. • Receive, log, and label incoming raw materials accurately. • Reconcile packing slips with purchase orders and maintain documentation. • Run shipping and receiving operations (FedEx, DHL, UPS) and act as backup for warehouse receiving. • Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, safe, and organized. • Deliver mail and raw materials between local facilities, ensuring reliable transportation and time management. • Use computer systems to manage shipment and material data; oversee inventory control for laboratory supplies. • Support demos, displays, and other project needs with a creative, hands‑on approach. • Perform clerical/office tasks and hands‑on warehouse work. • Communicate professionally with staff, management, agents, vendors, and customers. • Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, reach trucks, manual/electric pallet jacks); training and certification provided.
