About the Role
The Business Class Manager is accountable for staff management, establishing a culture of quality, supporting business development, and partnering with national, regional, and area leads to drive technical execution, Professional Services initiatives, and quality outcomes. • Lead staff development, including career planning, hiring justification, utilization tracking, and performance adjustments. • Review pre‑contract documents, fee proposals, negotiations, and contract signing for Business Class projects. • Manage budgets focused on billability and coordinate training and overhead budgets with the Professional Services Lead. • Conduct project reviews assessing scope, schedule, fees, profitability, and risk management. • Allocate marketing and conference budgets for client development and staff participation. • Champion a culture of quality by ensuring proactive project management documentation and QMS compliance. • Provide input on staff recognition programs and involvement in company‑wide initiatives. • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts for Business Class personnel. • Mentor teams to align client requirements with technical solutions and supervise assignments. • Coordinate staff assignments for project management and technical lead roles across market sectors. • Facilitate collaboration between Business Class and other Business Groups to advance strategic plans. • Design and implement the Area Business Class team organization. • Serve as Principal‑in‑Charge, Project Sponsor, or Project Manager on selected projects.
