About the Role
As a Support Officer you will work alongside colleagues in supported‑housing and outreach teams to keep families safe from abuse, help them access welfare benefits, assist with debt, provide emotional support and guide them in applying for more permanent housing. • Keep families safe from domestic abuse. • Facilitate access to welfare benefits and debt assistance. • Provide emotional support to service users. • Assist customers in seeking and applying for permanent housing. • Collaborate with supported‑housing and outreach teams across Kent.

Benefits
The Support Officer role is based in Canterbury, Kent and covers the areas of Ashford, Folkestone and Maidstone. It is a permanent position with a 36‑hour week and a starting salary of £28,038 rising to £30,194 per annum. The successful candidate will join Clarion’s Kent Domestic Abuse Service, delivering housing and tenancy‑related support to people experiencing domestic abuse.
