About the Role

The Shipping Loader I is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders. They also prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. The role includes operating basic shipping equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and wrapping machines, as well as maintaining accurate records of shipped and received goods in the inventory management system. Additional duties involve assisting with loading and unloading trucks and containers, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the shipping area, and adhering to all safety protocols while responding to emails when necessary. • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders. • Prepare and package products for shipment with proper labeling and documentation. • Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, wrapping machines, and other basic shipping equipment. • Maintain accurate inventory records of shipped and received goods. • Load and unload trucks and containers while keeping the shipping area clean and organized. • Follow all safety protocols and respond to email communications as needed. • Perform physically demanding tasks, lifting up to 50 lb and standing, walking, bending for extended periods.

What You Bring

Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is preferred, though not required, and candidates may need forklift, man‑lift, or tractor certifications. The position demands basic computer skills for inventory tracking and strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities. The work environment requires the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Employees may be exposed to varying weather conditions, loud noises, dirt, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects, and heavy forklift traffic. • Prefer prior shipping/warehouse experience; forklift, man‑lift, and tractor certifications may be required. • Use basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry. • Demonstrate strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
