About the Role

The Technical Writer will join Environmental Solutions Group’s Soft Pak division, reporting to the VP of Product Management, and work remotely to produce high‑quality documentation and training materials that enable users to effectively engage with the software. In this role the writer will develop and maintain user guides, manuals, and online help, collaborate with subject‑matter experts to gather accurate information, translate technical concepts into clear language, and ensure consistency through editing, proofreading, and adherence to style guides. The position also involves project management duties such as planning, tracking, and prioritizing documentation tasks, incorporating feedback, coordinating with product, programming, and QA teams, and managing version control throughout product lifecycles. Additional responsibilities include creating visual aids, supporting training resources, and contributing to AI‑based help tools, instructional videos, and the framework for AI‑powered documentation support. • Create, update, and organize user guides, manuals, and online help content. • Gather accurate product information by collaborating with subject matter experts, product management, and developers. • Translate technical terminology into clear, concise language for customers. • Edit and proofread documents for grammar, style, and consistency. • Follow established templates, style guides, and company formatting standards. • Plan, track, and prioritize documentation tasks to meet project deadlines. • Incorporate stakeholder and user feedback to improve documentation accuracy. • Coordinate with product, programming, and QA teams to align documentation with product updates. • Maintain version control and manage multiple documentation versions throughout product lifecycles. • Develop visual aids such as diagrams, screenshots, graphics, and videos. • Support creation of training materials and knowledge‑sharing resources for internal and external audiences. • Contribute to AI‑based help tools, instructional videos, and framework for AI‑powered documentation.

What You Bring

Candidates should have an associate degree in Technical Writing or equivalent experience, at least three years of technical writing in the software industry, strong communication skills, proficiency with standard office and authoring tools, and the ability to work collaboratively under pressure.
