About the Role
Key responsibilities include daily territory management to acquire new accounts and meet or exceed rental revenue goals, developing and executing sales strategies, identifying customer needs and collaborating with operations to deliver solutions, and understanding market conditions to optimize pricing. The role also requires diversifying the customer base by tailoring product and service offerings, providing customized, solution‑based options, delivering formal presentations to decision‑makers, coordinating implementation and maintenance of new services, and reporting sales activity through CRM and related tools. • Manage daily territory activities to acquire new accounts and exceed rental revenue targets. • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans. • Identify customer needs and partner with operations to deliver solutions. • Analyze market conditions and competition to optimize pricing. • Diversify customer base by tailoring product and service offerings. • Deliver customized solutions and present options to decision‑makers. • Conduct formal presentations and educate customers on generators, compressors, and HVAC systems. • Coordinate implementation and maintenance of new services. • Track and report sales activities using CRM tools.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, though equivalent education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably within the equipment‑rental industry focused on pumps, power, and climate‑control markets, and possess strong product knowledge in these areas. They should demonstrate a passion for customers, the ability to sell complex solutions, professional communication and negotiation skills, and the capacity to drive results, adapt to changing business conditions, and work self‑motivated. A valid driver’s license with a clean record and willingness to travel throughout and beyond the Milton CAT territory are required. Supervisors may assign additional duties as needed. • Hold a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience). • Possess 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in equipment rental (pump, power, climate control). • Demonstrate strong product knowledge of pump, power, and climate‑control equipment. • Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. • Drive results, adapt to changing business conditions, and work self‑motivated. • Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean record and travel as required.

Benefits
This is a salaried position with a base salary of $48,000 plus commission, offering total earnings potential of $125,000 to $165,000 for the right candidate.
