About the Role

Freese and Nichols is seeking an Owner’s Advisor – Collaborative Delivery for any of its locations. In this role you will advise clients on optimal project delivery methods, support procurement and contracting, and function as an extension of the client’s staff to move projects forward with clarity and confidence. • Advise clients on delivery options and select the best‑fit approach. • Guide owners through collaborative delivery methods (CMAR/CMGC, design‑build) and explain trade‑offs. • Support procurement by reviewing RFQs/RFPs, SOQs, and selection criteria. • Define scopes of work and contract structures for multi‑party project teams. • Act as an extension of client staff to deliver quality outcomes on schedule and within budget. • Establish and monitor QA/QC goals and processes for programs and project teams. • Coordinate internal teams and client stakeholders to align delivery and resolve issues.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Possess 10+ years managing design/construction or capital improvement programs. • Demonstrate proficiency in design project management and construction contract administration. • Understand public‑sector procurement procedures and address complex procurement issues. • Willingness to travel frequently to meet project and client requirements. • Preferred certifications: Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM). • Experience preparing or reviewing RFQs/RFPs, SOQs, and selection‑criteria packages. • Experience developing and managing program or client budgets. • Experience serving as project manager or technical leader on large, complex projects.
