About the Role
• Lead design teams to produce conceptual plans, elevations, detailed documentation, 3D renderings, and required exhibits. • Oversee design team performance and coordinate with architectural staff and external consultants. • Integrate jurisdictional requirements, client standards, constructibility, and program guidelines into design concepts. • Provide guidance on architectural construction documents and ensure accurate design translation. • Conduct project design meetings and support Project Managers and Designers. • Manage QA/QC reviews to maintain design intent throughout all project phases. • Review specifications and collaborate with spec writers, sustainable material specialists, and product representatives. • Monitor construction activities, advise on RFIs and submittals, and support construction administration. • Produce design deliverables for RFP/RFQ responses and marketing proposals. • Assist in developing new project proposals and determining design fees. • Align design deliverables with project schedules and work plans. • Review project financial health with Project Managers and studio leadership. • Enforce Service Level Agreements and manage project risks and issues. • Perform monthly 1:1 check‑ins, mid‑year, and year‑end performance reviews for team members (people managers only).

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or related field. • Minimum 12 years of professional architecture/design experience; licensure preferred. • Expertise in design management, consultant coordination, constructability, and documentation standards. • Experience delivering projects using milestone‑based schedules. • Ability to oversee multiple design teams, aligning deliverables with schedule and budget. • Strong understanding of business operations and project financial management. • Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, V‑Ray, and Enscape. • Skilled in collaboration tools such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams. • Ability to balance strategic initiatives with billable work. • Excellent English reading, writing, and communication skills.
