About the Role
• Conduct feasibility studies and advise on procurement strategies and contract selection. • Apply value‑management techniques at the project outset. • Manage estimating and cost‑planning activities and present the final cost plan. • Assist in the procurement and selection of the main contractor. • Prepare contract documents, warranties, bonds and licenses and support their execution. • Advise on administration of building contract terms and manage variations. • Provide cost control, reporting and financial statements for the client. • Identify and track costs linked to design changes, contract awards and construction activities. • Evaluate contractor claims for delays and additional costs. • Issue certificates of practical completion, manage final account negotiations and defect remediation. • Drive improvements in systems, processes and transformational change. • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering continuous improvement. • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Support net‑zero carbon objectives by managing associated emissions throughout delivery.

What You Bring
Within the consulting business we combine leading‑edge practical expertise with project delivery consultancy to unlock potential on multi‑billion‑dollar programmes, especially for some of the largest data‑centre developers and end‑user clients. • Demonstrate strong understanding of sustainability, social value and carbon‑reduction issues. • Hold a degree in quantity surveying or cost management and progress toward MRICS/RICS membership. • Possess extensive experience in cost consultancy, budgeting, estimating and contract administration. • Exhibit strong analytical, negotiation and digital competencies with effective stakeholder communication.
