About the Role
As an Order Picker/Picker Packer you will read incoming orders, select the correct items from warehouse shelves, stage them for delivery, operate forklifts and other heavy machinery, update inventory counts, and count out goods to fulfill orders. You will follow safety guidelines, collect order notes, pick items using barcodes or serial numbers, shrink‑wrap items, operate handling equipment according to safety regulations, load items into delivery vehicles, update stock inventory, manage stock control and replenishment, and perform other general warehouse duties as needed. • Read incoming orders and select correct items from warehouse shelves. • Operate forklifts, cherry‑picker, and other handling equipment safely. • Update inventory counts and manage stock replenishment. • Shrink‑wrap items and load them onto delivery vehicles. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment. • Use barcodes or serial numbers to locate ordered items. • Maintain accurate stock records after each pick. • Perform general warehouse duties as needed.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include the ability to read and write English, a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification with at least one year of experience (including sit‑down, stand‑up, and cherry‑picker forklifts), and strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications are experience with JD Edwards ERP and inventory management knowledge. The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, vibration, and loud noise. Physical demands include frequent standing and walking, occasional climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and lifting up to 10 lb regularly and up to 50 lb occasionally. • High school diploma or equivalent; fluent in English. • Forklift certification with at least 1 year experience (sit‑down, stand‑up, cherry‑picker). • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Preferred: experience with JD Edwards ERP and inventory management.

Benefits
The position is located in Lubbock, TX, on the 1st shift (Monday‑Friday, 6 AM‑2:30 PM) with overtime as requested. Pay is $18.00 per hour plus overtime opportunities.
