About the Role

The role partners with Aqua’s Project Management Office to design and implement technology solutions across M365, Active Directory, VMware, Citrix, and end‑user platforms. Responsibilities include building, supporting, and maintaining Windows Server, virtualization, and desktop operating systems, as well as overseeing system uptime with the Service Desk. The incumbent serves as a technology subject‑matter expert, provides daily administration of Windows, VMware, Citrix, and Red Hat environments, and ensures comprehensive documentation for handover. Additional duties involve applying security best practices, monitoring compliance and threats, conducting capacity planning, supporting system consolidation, participating in disaster‑recovery planning and testing, and managing change‑control procedures. The position acts as an escalation point for Service Desk incidents related to mobile and desktop devices, ensuring response times meet SLTs and SLAs. • Lead design and implementation of M365, Active Directory, VMware, Citrix, and end‑user technology solutions. • Build, support, and maintain Windows Server, virtualized, and desktop operating systems. • Provide daily administration, patching, and configuration of Windows, VMware, Citrix, and Red Hat platforms. • Serve as technology SME and create comprehensive documentation for project handoff. • Apply security best practices, monitor compliance, and respond to internal and external threats. • Conduct capacity planning, system consolidation, and standardization initiatives. • Participate in disaster‑recovery planning, testing, and execution. • Manage change‑control procedures for production system changes. • Act as escalation point for Service Desk incidents, ensuring SLT and SLA compliance.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and at least seven years of engineering and design experience with Microsoft technologies. Candidates must have hands‑on experience with M365, Windows Server, Windows 10, SCCM, and Active Directory; automation and PowerShell scripting are preferred, and a current Microsoft MCSE certification is advantageous. Desired knowledge and abilities encompass Azure, M365, SCCM, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and SCADA technologies, along with strong written and verbal communication, customer‑service orientation, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. The role requires the capacity to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate effectively within a team. The position involves primarily sedentary work with occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds and up to 2 % travel to Essential Utilities sites.
