About the Role

The Assistant Manager Statutory Reporting – Stat COE leads the centralization and optimization of statutory audit processes within JLL's Centre of Excellence, driving standardization across multiple legal entities while ensuring compliance with global accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include supporting the preparation and review of statutory financial statements across multiple jurisdictions, collaborating with Finance teams and Grant Thornton to streamline audit workflows, establishing and maintaining audit project timelines, championing change management for audit centralization, developing standardized procedures, templates and documentation, serving as a subject‑matter expert on accounting standards, investigating and resolving complex accounting and audit issues, maintaining expertise in the OneSource platform, and leading process‑innovation using data analytics and automation. The role also involves stakeholder management, regular communication between internal teams and external auditors, preparation of executive‑level audit status reports, and support for special projects directed by Stat COE leadership, with performance objectives focused on timely audit completion and measurable continuous improvements. JLL leverages artificial intelligence to match candidates with opportunities and follows a comprehensive privacy policy to protect personal data, complying with equal‑employment opportunity standards and providing reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment process. • Centralize and standardize statutory audit processes across JLL legal entities. • Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Finance teams and Grant Thornton to streamline audit workflows. • Create and maintain audit project timelines to ensure timely statutory filings. • Drive change management by migrating decentralized audits into the Stat COE framework. • Develop standardized audit procedures, templates, and documentation. • Serve as subject‑matter expert on IFRS, US GAAP and other accounting standards. • Investigate and resolve complex accounting and audit issues with technical accounting teams. • Administer and support the OneSource audit platform, including troubleshooting and user assistance. • Apply data‑analytics and workflow optimization to reduce audit cycle times. • Identify and implement automation opportunities in audit preparation and review. • Define KPIs and reporting mechanisms to monitor COE effectiveness. • Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and external auditors. • Prepare executive‑level audit status and improvement reports for senior finance leadership. • Support special projects and initiatives as directed by Stat COE leadership. • Ensure timely completion of statutory audits for all supported entities. • Escalate and resolve audit issues to global and country controllership teams. • Drive continuous improvement of statutory audit execution processes.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and a CPA, CA or equivalent qualification, with at least five years of statutory audit support experience in a multinational corporation or Big 4 firm. Required skills include strong technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and other international standards, experience with large‑scale ERP systems (PeopleSoft preferred), advanced Excel, OneSource audit software, and data‑analytics tools such as Alteryx and Power BI, alongside excellent analytical, communication and multitasking abilities. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and a CPA/CA qualification. • Minimum five years of statutory audit support experience in an MNC or Big 4 firm. • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and international accounting standards. • Experience with large‑scale ERP systems; PeopleSoft preferred. • Advanced Excel proficiency and expertise with audit software (OneSource a plus). • Proficiency with data‑analytics tools such as Alteryx and Power BI. • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills across all levels. • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
